Cultivation methods and precautions of golden-edged jadeite

Cultivation methods and precautions of golden-edged jadeite

Golden-edged Jade is relatively easy to grow because it is a typical plant that likes light. As long as it is given sufficient light, it can grow healthily. In the summer, you should pay attention to shading the Golden-edged Jade.

How to cultivate golden-edged jadeite

1. Temperature

Golden Edge Emerald Chlorophytum likes a warm environment. The most suitable temperature for its growth is between 20-30 degrees. As long as the temperature is not lower than 5 degrees in winter, it can survive the winter safely, but if the temperature is too low, it will be frostbite.

2. Soil

The growing soil for Golden Edge Emerald Chlorophytum needs to be loose and breathable. Such soil has good drainage and can prevent excessive soil moisture from causing root rot of the plant. Therefore, garden soil plus an appropriate amount of perlite can be used as the growing soil.

3. Fertilization

If the room temperature is too low in winter, the Golden Edge Emerald Chlorophytum that enters a dormant period should not be maintained with fertilizer. When changing its flowerpot, it is best to choose decomposed horse manure and add it to the soil appropriately.

4. Watering

Golden Edge Emerald Chlorophytum prefers a dry environment and has a certain degree of drought resistance. Therefore, pay attention to the amount of water when watering it. Less is better than more. Just keep the soil moist. In an environment where the room temperature is too low, the amount of water should be reduced.

Precautions for the maintenance of golden-edged jadeite

During the maintenance of golden-edged jadeite, attention should be paid to light, because golden-edged jadeite has a higher demand for light. In winter, the sunlight is not strong, so the golden-edged jadeite can be placed on a sunny windowsill to receive direct sunlight.
