How to use potting nutrient solution and what is the appropriate amount

When the potted plants reach a certain stage, you should prepare to fertilize them, otherwise more problems will easily arise. The choice of nutrient solution becomes crucial. If the operation is improper or the nutrient solution is not well chosen, problems such as rot and leaf falling may occur.

Use of potting nutrient solution

The amount of nutrient solution should be determined according to the size of the potted plants and the volume of the flowerpots. It can also be used according to the instructions. In spring and summer, add nutrient solution about once every half a month. In autumn, add it once every one or two months. In winter, most plants enter a dormant period, so you don't need to add nutrient solution.

Preparation of potting nutrient solution

We can use rice water to make nutrient solution, pour it into a larger bucket and seal it, and it can be used after fermenting for more than a month. If it is not completely fermented, pouring it directly into the soil will easily cause rot and may attract some small insects, which is not good for potted plants. Of course, if you have rotten soybeans, peanuts, etc. at home, you can also put them in a water bottle, seal it, and ferment it for one or two months before use. It is also a very convenient way to make your own nutrient solution.
