How to deal with the blooming of threaded iron

Post-processing of threaded iron blooming

The whorl iron is a foliage plant. This plant rarely blooms. Some may even take 10-20 years to grow before they can bloom. They will only bloom when they have accumulated enough nutrients.

In order to avoid affecting the growth of the plant after flowering, pruning is usually necessary. All the remaining flowers, dead leaves, and long branches of the plant should be cut off, so that the plant can grow better in the later stage.

How to grow flowers with thread iron

It is very rare for a plant like Corydalis to bloom, and it does not have a fixed flowering period. The flowering period is also very short, often withering within a few hours, and no longer than a day.

1. Fertilization

In addition to applying base fertilizer during the growth period of thread iron, topdressing is also required. You can choose organic fertilizer or compound fertilizer, and make sure it is fully decomposed.

2. Light search

The thread iron plant does not like strong light, but it cannot be completely deprived of light. If you want it to bloom successfully, it is best to place it in an environment with sufficient scattered light. Pay attention to shade in summer and control the ambient temperature between 20-28℃.

3. Moisture

The thread iron has high requirements for water, and the plant likes moisture, so it is best to water it frequently, about once every 3-4 days, to ensure the growth of the plant.
