1. Select bulbs: Before planting dahlias, you need to select suitable and high-quality bulbs. They should be large, full and substantial, and not contaminated or squeezed by the outside world.

2. Process the bulbs: remove the epidermis of the bulbs, then go to the pharmacy to buy carbendazim, add water to make a solution, put the bulbs in and soak for a while to remove any bacteria or insect eggs that may be present.

3. Prepare the soil: Choose a flat place for planting and cultivation. The soil should be fertile, loose and permeable. Disinfect it in advance before use.

4. Planting: prepare the soil, then plant the bulbs into the soil, cover with soil and press it tightly, water the soil to keep it moist, move it to a diffuse light environment, and wait for the dahlia to thrive in the later stage.

Dahlia planting precautions

Dahlias have fleshy roots and cannot tolerate waterlogging. When planting, the soil must be loose, breathable and well-drained. If the soil is compacted and waterlogged, it will cause root rot or even death. However, dahlias have many leaves and large flowers, and they consume water relatively quickly. In hot and dry weather, if the leaves wilt, water them immediately and water them thoroughly at one time.
