The harvest period in Northeast planting area is from late September to mid-October, in North China it is mid-October, and in Northwest China it is late October. The specific harvest time depends on the growth of beetroot.

1. Planting time

The planting time of beetroot is affected by temperature. If planted in Northeast China and Inner Mongolia, the time is mid-to-early April. If sown in Heilongjiang Province, if planted in the northern region, the temperature must be controlled in early May. If planted in the southern region, the time will be earlier. Beetroot is basically planted in the summer in the Yellow River Basin.

2. Planting method

If you want to increase the yield of beetroot, you should choose loose and fertile soil with good drainage to avoid waterlogging. When preparing the land, you need to deep plow and apply base fertilizer reasonably. Then choose seeds with full grains, dig holes in the soil and directly sow and bury them, but make sure the density between the holes is reasonable.
