Cabbage planting time and method

Cabbage planting time

Cabbage is generally planted in spring and autumn every year. The temperature in these two time periods is relatively high, which is suitable for its growth and development. After sowing, it can germinate and grow quickly. When planting, you also need to pay attention to weather changes. It is best to sow when the weather is relatively clear.

How to grow cabbage

1. Germination treatment: In order to increase the germination rate of seeds, the seeds need to be germinated before planting cabbage, and fuller seeds should be selected so that they will have better growth after planting.

2. Select the soil: Before raising cabbage seedlings, you need to choose humus soil that is rich in trace elements, loose and breathable as the seedling soil, and then apply some decomposed farmyard manure in an appropriate amount, which can improve the soil fertility.

3. Seedling cultivation: After the cabbage seeds are germinated, they can be evenly sown in the soil and then covered with fine soil. After a week, the seeds will germinate.

Cabbage planting precautions

When cabbage is growing in the seedling stage, it needs to be transplanted. When transplanting, you need to be careful not to damage the root system. After successful transplanting, you need to spray the soil with carbendazim in time to help the seedlings adapt to the environment.
