How to cultivate mountain peach

How to cultivate mountain peach

1. Soil:

Mountain peach has strong adaptability to soil and is resistant to drought and barrenness, but it is best to choose sandy loam or light loam with good drainage, flat terrain, looseness and fertility for cultivation.

2. Lighting:

The mountain peach yellow likes to live in a cultivation environment with sufficient light and warm temperature. Long-term light is conducive to the growth of the yellow mountain. It has a strong adaptability to light intensity and does not need to be deliberately adjusted.

3. Watering:

The mountain peach is drought-resistant but not water-resistant, and its demand for water is not high. It does not need excessive watering during cultivation. If too much watering causes water accumulation, root rot is likely to occur.

4. Fertilization:

Apply nitrogen fertilizer in the early stage of cultivation, but do not apply too much to prevent excessive growth. Top dressing is required 2-3 times a year. Apply urea before flowering, apply phosphorus and potassium fertilizers after flowering, apply diammonium fertilizer to promote fruiting, and apply diammonium fertilizer after harvesting.

5. Pest and disease control:

1. Diseases: The main disease of mountain peach is root cancer. They can damage the rhizomes of the wild peach and cause death. Use K84 disinfectant for soaking and disinfection, and use bactericidal spirit to sterilize the seedling holes for effective prevention and control.

2. Pests: The main pests of wild peach are pink peach aphids and hawthorn leaf mites, which will feed on leaves and young shoots, affecting the normal development and growth of the plant. Crystal lime sulfur mixture can be applied for spraying for prevention and control.
