In the Northeast and Northwest regions, the planting time is generally in spring from April to May, while Jiangsu and Zhejiang and other places are planted in January and February, and Guangdong, Guangxi and other places are planted in October and November.

The cost of one acre of potatoes is about 2,000 yuan, and the output of potatoes per acre is about 2,500 kg per acre. At the wholesale price of 1 yuan per catty, one acre of potatoes can be sold for about 5,000 yuan, and the net profit of one acre of potatoes is about 3,000 yuan.

When planting potatoes, they need a relatively cool growing environment, and the planting soil should be loose and breathable, which is more conducive to their growth and development.
