Panax notoginseng growth cycle management

Panax notoginseng is a perennial herb with a relatively long growing period and a very short dormant period. Its yield increases year by year with the age of the tree, and the yield per mu can reach 500 kilograms during the peak fruit-bearing period.

Temperature management : The suitable growth temperature of Panax notoginseng is 18-25℃, and the annual average temperature in the planting area is best at 18-19℃. The germination temperature of its seeds is between 10-30℃, the optimal temperature is 20℃, and it is very sensitive to light.

Fertilization management : When caring for Panax notoginseng, more attention should be paid to base fertilizer and topdressing, and foliar fertilizer should be applied in time. High-quality Panax notoginseng cultivation needs to be based on farmyard manure, and it should be applied with an appropriate amount of compound fertilizer. The ratio of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium should be 2:1:3. Excessive application of nitrogen fertilizers will cause the quality of Panax notoginseng to decline.
