Olive tree growth environment and conditions

Olive trees are more suitable for planting in warm areas. They are common in mixed woods in valleys and hillsides. They can also be planted in gardens. They are a good ornamental plant. Their origin is in southern my country, and they are widely planted in Fujian, Taiwan, Guangdong, Guangxi and other places.

Olive Tree Growing Conditions

Olive trees prefer a warm growing environment. During the growing period, they need appropriately high temperatures so that they can grow more vigorously and produce higher quality fruits.

Olive tree growth temperature

For olive trees, the temperature needs to be kept between 15-35 degrees during their growth, and the annual average temperature needs to be kept above 20 degrees during maintenance, so that it will grow better.

Olive tree growth process

When an olive tree grows, it usually does so through seed germination. After its seeds are planted, they will grow radicles, plumules, hypocotyls, and then seedlings. The leaves will continuously absorb sunlight, synthesize nutrients and transport them to various parts of the plant, and then bloom and bear fruit.

Olive tree planting time and method

Olive trees are usually planted in February and March. If they are propagated by sowing, the seeds need to be harvested in the previous year and then soaked in warm water, which is more conducive to germination. When planting, loose and fertile soil needs to be used, and watering and fertilizing should be carried out in time during maintenance.
