The role of tea base fertilizerAs a perennial evergreen crop, tea trees have obvious characteristics of nutrient storage and reuse. The above-ground part stops growing, but the underground part continues to absorb nutrients. In addition to maintaining basic metabolism during the winter, most of the absorbed nutrients are stored in the root system, which becomes the material basis for the sprouting of new shoots in the second year, playing a decisive role in the early growth and fatness of spring tea. Tea base fertilizer selectionOrganic fertilizer should be selected as the base fertilizer for tea, and 40-60 kg should be applied per mu. Pay attention to the principle of applying thin fertilizers frequently, and do not use raw fertilizers or concentrated fertilizers. The base fertilizer for tea can be placed before the beginning of winter from the beginning of frost, or it can be applied from mid-February to late March every year. The fertilizer must be fully decomposed. How to apply base fertilizer for tea1. Deep application: The base fertilizer for tea should be applied to a depth of about 50-60 cm, which can promote the maturation of deep soil and promote the development of the plant's roots to deep layers, thus forming a good root system. 2. Give priority to organic fertilizers: Base fertilizers generally use organic fertilizers with good soil improvement properties, such as green manure with high cellulose content, grass fertilizer, straw, compost, manure, cake fertilizer, etc., and chemical fertilizers such as phosphate rock powder, calcium magnesium phosphate fertilizer or superphosphate. Quick-acting chemical fertilizers are not suitable as base fertilizers because they are easily leached. 3. The amount used at one time should be large and sufficient: the conventional amount is 15 to 20 tons of compost plus about 300 kilograms of phosphate rock powder or calcium magnesium phosphate fertilizer per mu, and it should be applied after stacking for 5 to 10 days. 4. Mix soil and fertilizer evenly: Base fertilizer should be combined with deep plowing to achieve full-layer fertilization so that the soil and fertilizer are fully mixed. Tea cannot be planted immediately after deep plowing and fertilization. You should wait for a while until the soil drops before planting the tea seedlings. |
