How to grow peach trees on the balcony and what to pay attention to

1. Lighting Issues

Peach trees naturally need sunlight for their maintenance and growth. If they lack sunlight, there will be problems with their growth, causing them to be weak and unable to bloom and bear fruit. If there is no yard at home, you can place it on the balcony for maintenance. The light can meet the needs of good growth and it can be exposed to enough sunlight, so it can grow better, bloom more flowers, and produce fruits normally. Be careful not to place the newly potted plants on the balcony in exposure to strong light, and provide appropriate shade in midsummer.

2. Pot soil selection

When growing the plant at home, the choice of flowerpots and soil is very important. The diameter of the flowerpot needs to be at least 30 cm and the depth about 20 cm. This will be conducive to the growth and elongation of the roots and ensure the growth of the entire plant. This will also provide enough space when placed on the balcony. The soil should be loose and well-drained. It can be made of humus soil with good air permeability. It is more appropriate to mix nutrient soil with coarse sand.

3. Application of water and fertilizer

Growth naturally requires the application of water and fertilizer. Water the plant thoroughly once in the pot to stabilize the roots. Then water it regularly according to its growth during maintenance. During the period of vigorous growth, applying fertilizer and water every 15 days or so can make it grow better.
