There are many varieties of moss, and they must grow in an environment with sufficient scattered light. The plants need a moist and warm growing environment. Moss growth temperature

The most suitable growth temperature for moss is around 25℃. The temperature during maintenance should not be lower than 22℃ so that the plant can grow well. Its cold resistance is very poor and it cannot grow normally when the temperature is lower than 10℃.

Moss growth humidity

Moss likes a humid environment. Environmental humidity is very important for the development of moss. The air humidity is required to be around 80%, and the minimum air humidity is also around 60%. The plants need to be sprayed with water in time.

Moss growing soil

Moss has high requirements for soil, which must have good water retention but also be breathable. The soil can be prepared with honeycomb coal balls and garden soil in a certain proportion, or peat soil can be used as the substrate.

Moss growth cycle and process

As a lower plant, moss has no obvious natural alternation in its growth. The sporophyte of the plant is underdeveloped and parasitic on the gametophyte, unable to live independently. After asexual reproduction, it will produce sporangia containing many spores.
