Illustrated steps for taking cuttings of large-leafed green radish. How to make it take root quickly when grown in water?

1. Cutting steps

1. Prepare the potting soil: Prepare the potting soil before cutting. Use a flowerpot with a larger diameter and use soil that is breathable. Avoid using heavy clay soil.

2. Cut cuttings: Cut a branch with good growth condition from the mother plant. Try not to use thin and weak branches. The length of the cuttings can be about 10-15cm. After cutting, remove the leaves at the lower end and make sure there is a bud on the cuttings.

3. Fix the palm bamboo: Find a bamboo pole or PVC pipe, wrap a circle of palm bark on it, tie it tightly with a rope, put it into the potting soil, and fix it with the soil.

4. Carry out cuttings: Insert the processed cuttings into the potting soil, with the leaves facing the edge of the pot, and you can plant cuttings in a circle around the bamboo palm. The depth of the cuttings should not be too deep, just insert it 1/3 of the depth into the soil.

2. How to quickly root in water

If you want it to take root quickly when grown in water, you need to allow it to receive a certain amount of diffuse light, and the temperature should not be too low. When you first start growing the plant in water, you need to change the water frequently. If the water quality deteriorates, it will hinder its rooting.
