How to plant rose seedlings

How to plant rose seedlings

1. Prepare the soil

Choosing good pots and soil can greatly increase the success rate of planting rose seedlings. It is better to use flower pots that are relatively permeable, of appropriate size, and have bottom holes. It is better to use flower soil that has good air permeability, does not easily accumulate water, and contains more nutrients. Specifically, you can choose a clay pot with a diameter of about 20 cm and flower soil made from a mixture of leaf mold and river sand. If you don't like the look of a clay pot, you can also switch to a terracotta pot.

2. Choose flower seedlings

For beginners who are just starting to plant, it is recommended to choose larger seedlings, because the success rate is higher when planting with this kind of seedlings. For veterans, it is okay to choose large or small seedlings.

3. Planting method

1. Prepare the potting soil: disinfect the prepared potting soil separately, then pour the soil into the pot and smooth its surface. Then dig a small hole on it, about the same size as the roots of the seedlings.

2. Planting: Insert the selected seedlings into the newly dug hole, and then fill the hole with the flower soil on the side. After that, water it thoroughly and place it in a place without strong light.

3. Later maintenance: Generally speaking, as long as you water it regularly in the next few days and prevent it from lacking water, it will be easy to survive. However, if its leaves become wilted, you will need to put a small bag on them to keep them warm and moist.
