How to make the hanging bamboo plum grow out of the pot by cuttings

1. Suitable substrate

A suitable growth substrate is the primary factor in making the cuttings overflow the pot. Only by ensuring this condition can the effect of overflowing the pot be achieved. You can use river sand or peat as the substrate, or you can use other nutritious soil with good drainage properties, and the effect is also very good. Before use, it must be disinfected to remove the bacteria inside.

2. Suitable cuttings

Choose 1- to 2-year-old branches as cuttings and cut them with sterilized sharp scissors. It is not suitable if the age is too short or too long, which is not conducive to subsequent cuttings. The length should be kept between 5 and 8 cm, with 3 to 5 new leaves left on it. The lower leaves must be removed to prevent rot caused by cuttings. 3. Take cuttings
