How to grow Schefflera

How to grow Schefflera

1. Temperature

It can grow normally between 5-35 degrees. Below 5 degrees or above 35 degrees may cause harm from low temperature or high temperature.

2. Lighting

It likes light and can grow in full sun or semi-shade environment. However, avoid placing it in a place with insufficient light for a long time, or exposing it to strong sunlight at noon in summer. You can place it in a sunny place for maintenance.

3. Soil

It likes loose, breathable sandy soil, preferably slightly acidic.

4. Water

It likes moist soil but is afraid of waterlogging. When watering, spray more water and water less often to keep the soil moist.

5. Fertilization

It grows strongly and cannot lack fertilizer. During the growing season, apply full-element liquid fertilizer about once a month, and use less fertilizer during the winter dormancy period.

6. Prevention and control of pests and diseases

If the improper methods are used during growth and cultivation, the plant will grow weak and easily infected by diseases and pests. It can be solved by taking precautions in advance or spraying pesticides in time when the problem first occurs.
