Desert Rose Seed Planting Method

1. Soil

Desert rose is a drought-resistant plant, so when planting its seeds, you should choose soil with good water permeability. If the soil is not air permeable enough, you can add some expanded clay to increase the permeability. In addition to the requirements for looseness, there are also requirements for soil quality and moisture. The soil should preferably be acidic and slightly dry.

2. Sowing time

The best time to sow desert rose seeds is after the beginning of spring, because the temperature is stable and the climate is warm at that time, which is suitable for planting and germination.

3. Sowing Method

1. Soak the seeds for six hours, then sprinkle them into the prepared soil, cover them with three centimeters of fine soil, and water the soil once. Generally, if the soil feels moist and is loose instead of clumping, it means that there is enough water.

2. Use a piece of film to completely cover the entire culture soil in order to create a high-temperature growth environment for seed germination and facilitate seed germination. It will take about one to two weeks for the seeds to sprout. Don't rush to plant them after they sprout. Wait until they grow to about four centimeters before planting.
