How to grow multi-headed carnations in water

How to grow multi-headed carnations in water

1. Water culture method

1. Cutting leaves: When growing in water, you need to cut off the excess leaves at the bottom, especially the part that will be inserted into the water, which must not have leaves. If not trimmed, the leaves will quickly rot in water, thus contaminating the water.

2. Pruning: The leaves need to be properly trimmed before water cultivation. The bottom of the flower branch should be cut at a 45° angle. This is to increase the water absorption area and extend the water cultivation time.

3. Water: The water in the water container must be clean enough and free of any impurities. Moreover, the amount of water should not be too much, just enough to soak the squid in water to a depth of 1-2cm.

2. Water culture skills

1. The water needs to be changed frequently during the water culture period. If the climate is relatively warm, the water needs to be changed every day. Also, its roots should be trimmed again when changing the water.

2. The location for maintenance should be chosen carefully, as far away from ripe fruits as possible. Do not spray water on open flowers, as this will accelerate their rotting.
