How to grow purple basil

1. Site selection

When planting purple basil, you need to choose soil with good drainage and apply enough base fertilizer before planting to help the seedlings grow stronger.

2. Seedling cultivation

The seedling period is generally in mid-to-late April. The seeds should be placed on gauze to keep them moist, maintained at 25°C for germination, and washed once a day. When the seeds begin to sprout, the temperature can be lowered appropriately. After all the sprouts have emerged, you can start sowing.

3. Planting

It is best to choose sunny weather when sowing and put the soil into the sowing tray. Then water it thoroughly, and after the water seeps in, sprinkle a layer of medicated soil. When the seedlings grow to 10-15 cm, they can be transplanted and watered thoroughly after transplanting.
