Coral bean cultivation methods and precautions

Coral beans are very easy to grow, and they are not particularly demanding on the soil. They can survive as long as they are planted in the soil. The coral bean maintenance method is very simple, and it is very easy to bear fruit. It is suitable for growing in loam or sandy loam that is rich in organic matter, well-drained, loose and fertile.

How to grow coral beans

1. Temperature

The most suitable growth temperature for coral beans is 18-25 degrees. If the temperature is too low or too high, it will affect the growth and fruiting of the plant. When the temperature is higher than 30 degrees in summer, the potted plants can be moved to a semi-shaded and ventilated environment.

2. Lighting

Coral beans prefer warm and sunny environments. Potted coral beans need to be placed on a well-ventilated and sunny balcony to ensure that they are exposed to direct sunlight for more than 6 hours a day.

3. Watering

When watering coral beans, you need to pay attention to the principle of watering when the soil is dry and watering when the soil is wet. During the peak growing season in spring and summer, you can water it every 2-3 days.

4. Control fertilization

Organic fertilizer should be added when potting coral beans. During the peak growing season of coral beans, the soil can be loosened every half a month and organic liquid fertilizer containing nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium can be applied once.

Coral bean care precautions

When caring for coral beans, you need to pay attention to repotting. In winter, the fruits of coral beans wither, and the dead and diseased branches should be cut off. When the side branches of coral beans grow to 25 cm, they should also be hearted to help produce more side branches.
