How to propagate the grass

How to propagate the grass

1. Growth environment and flowering period

Because it grows on the water surface and is with water all day long, it can naturally withstand low temperatures. The flowers have ten to twenty petals when they bloom and are slender in shape. The flowering period is generally from May to July. They like sunlight and are also resistant to low temperatures.

2. Breeding method

Unlike other terrestrial plants, this plant is planted for the purpose of maintaining the ecology. To protect the ecology, we need to plant crops rationally to control each link of the food chain in order to create an environment more suitable for the survival of animals and plants.

Generally, we plant according to the deficiencies of the varieties or the different growth habits. There are two ways to plant plants: one is to spread a layer of culture soil at least ten centimeters thick in the grooves at the bottom of the pond, and then plant the aquatic plants in the soil; the other is to sow the seeds directly on the water surface, and then spread a layer of fine fertilizer on the water surface. When the seeds completely absorb the fertilizer, they can grow on the water surface like taking root. Compared with the former, the latter is easier because it is easy to move. Moreover, the second method can also maintain a higher clarity of the pool water.

3. Notes

(1) Check plants regularly to see if they are affected by pests and diseases. (2) Check whether the plants are planted too closely together, which may affect the growth of other plants. (4) Clean the impurities in the pool water from time to time. If the water at the bottom of the pool becomes turbid, the water must be changed. Proper planting methods and careful management can make the plants grow healthily.
