Ginger is not cold-resistant and is afraid of direct sunlight. Generally, the plant can germinate when the ambient temperature is above 16 degrees. The suitable growth temperature for ginger during the seedling stage is 20-25 degrees. When the stems and leaves begin to grow, the ambient temperature must be around 25-28 degrees.
