Pothos

How to do it:

1. Cut off a piece of green radish branch. It is best to choose one with aerial roots, so that the green radish is easier to take root and the survival rate is higher.

2. Divide the cut green radish into small sections, keeping one leaf in each section.

3. Put the green ivy into the prepared flowerpot, and don’t cover it with too thick soil. Then water it once and place it in a ventilated place for maintenance.

4. When the green radish starts to grow and grow new leaves, you can move it to the south balcony and let it bask in the sun. In less than two months, it will grow into a brand new pot of green radish!

Kalanchoe

How to do it:

1. Cut the branches of the Kalanchoe and divide them into small sections, leaving only a pair of leaves in each section. Otherwise, too many leaves will increase nutrient loss and affect the rooting speed.

2. Insert the cut Kalanchoe branches into the soil. The soil requirements for Kalanchoe cuttings are not high. Just use ordinary garden soil with some sand.

3. After the Kalanchoe grows new leaves, you can move it to the balcony, get more sunlight, and water it once a week. It will soon grow into a large pot of Kalanchoe!

Money Tree

How to do it:

1. Cut off relatively sturdy branches of the fortune tree, preferably wooden branches that are more than one year old. Keep 2 to 4 leaves on each cutting.

2. Insert the money tree branches into the prepared sand, water them, and place them in a cool place for maintenance. Then spray them with water every day to keep the river sand moist.

3. After about a month, the money tree will take root and you can then transplant it into a flowerpot.

Geranium

How to do it:

1. Cut the geranium branches into small pieces, each about 10 cm long, and leave 1 to 2 leaves. Don’t rush to plant the flowers after cutting them. Put them in a cool place to dry for 1 day first.

2. One day later, prepare river sand, insert the geranium branches into the sand, water them thoroughly, and then spray the geraniums with water every day.

3. In about 15 to 20 days, the geranium will grow new roots. After rooting, you can transplant it into a large flowerpot for maintenance.

Rose

How to do it:

1. It is best to choose branches that have grown for more than one year for rose cuttings. Use scissors to cut them into small sections of 5 to 8 cm, cut off the remaining flowers, and keep the leaves.

2. Put the rose branches into a plastic bottle and pour some water at the bottom of the bottle. Not too much, about 0.5 to 1 cm is enough.

3. Place the plastic bottle on the windowsill in sunlight, making sure there is always water at the bottom of the bottle. In this way, it will take about 2 weeks for the plant to take root, and then it can be transplanted into a flowerpot!

That’s all about the cutting techniques for various common flowers.
