How to grow golden pothos

How to grow golden pothos

1. Breeding conditions

1. Light: Golden Pothos is not very sun-loving, so just place it in a well-lit place during maintenance. It cannot be exposed to scorching sunlight, nor can it be too dark. If you keep it indoors, you also need proper ventilation.

2. Watering: It likes to grow in a humid environment. During the vigorous growth stage, the soil should be kept slightly moist and must not be too dry. However, the amount of watering should not be too much, as it will easily cause root rot, especially when the temperature is low, water control is more necessary.

3. Fertilization: During its vigorous growth period, fertilizer can be applied every 15 days. The amount of fertilizer should be controlled, not too much or too little. Fertilization should be stopped after entering winter because its growth will slow down, and normal fertilization will cause fertilizer damage.

4. Temperature: The breeding temperature should be controlled at around 20℃. Only in this temperature environment can the plants grow normally. Please note that the temperature should not be lower than 10℃ during winter cultivation. If it is too cold, the plant is likely to die.

2. Disease and Pest Control

Generally speaking, the diseases that harm the growth of golden pothos are anthracnose, root rot and leaf spot. After they occur, they should be promptly prevented and controlled with carbendazim, or other drugs can be purchased for treatment. Once you discover that it has been invaded, you cannot ignore it, as the whole plant will die after becoming sick.
