How to water Ji Yulu

How to water Ji Yulu

1. How to water in winter

The plant is suitable for growing in an environment with moderate temperature. The temperature in winter must be controlled between 8 degrees Celsius and 20 degrees Celsius so that it can grow normally. Watering is still necessary in winter. If there is a lack of water, it will go into hibernation. But you need to pay attention to the water temperature when watering. It is best to keep it about the same temperature as the prevailing temperature to prevent it from freezing! The best time for watering is generally before noon on a sunny day. The temperature at this time is relatively high, and the plant can absorb more water. If the temperature in winter can reach above 10 degrees, the Jade Plant will continue to grow slowly. Pay attention to keeping the potting soil moist.

2. Watering in summer

When the temperature is high in summer, the Ji Yu Lu will enter a dormant or semi-dormant mode, and its growth will become extremely slow or even stop completely. At this time, you need to pay attention to keep it in a well-ventilated and relatively dry environment. Be sure to avoid exposure to the sun and prolonged rain. Of course, you don't need to water it too much. Wait until the weather is a little cooler before you can resume normal watering and other management work.

3. How to water in spring and autumn

The temperature in spring and autumn is most favorable for the plant. If its growth rate is significantly accelerated, the soil in the pot will need to be watered thoroughly to meet its needs for rapid growth. The frequency of watering can then be determined based on actual conditions.

4. How to water during the growing period

At this time, you must follow the principle of not watering unless the soil is completely dry, and watering thoroughly when you do. There must not be water accumulation or rain, otherwise the roots of the Ji Yu Lu will rot. However, it must not lack water, otherwise it will affect its normal growth and reduce its ornamental value. In daily management, we must pay attention to ensuring the humidity of the environment in which the Ji Yu Lu is located, so that its leaves can be plump and full of vitality.

I hope everyone will follow the editor’s advice on watering. I wish everyone can grow a pot of gypsophila with full branches and leaves and a transparent and lovely appearance!
