How to use rooting powder for lucky bamboo

How to use rooting powder for lucky bamboo

1. Usage time

The function of rooting powder is to help the cuttings or young plants of lucky bamboo grow roots at a faster rate. Therefore, it is generally used to process cuttings during propagation. Of course, if you want to speed up the rooting of young bamboo, you can also use it to treat it.

2. Usage

1. Soaking method: first prepare a basin of clean water, put the rooting powder into it to dissolve it, and prepare it into a low-concentration rooting solution. Then place the cuttings or the bottom of young bamboo that needs cornstarch in it and soak it for 20-30 minutes. Afterwards, take them out and place them in a well-ventilated place without strong light to dry, then carry out cuttings or plant them back into the culture medium.

2. Applying method: If the cuttings need to be rooted, first cut its bottom end at 45°, then apply some rooting powder on its bottom end, and then insert it into the culture medium. If it is a young bamboo, take it out directly from the original culture medium and insert it into the rooting powder. Then take it out and plant it back into the culture medium for maintenance.
