How to water black rabbit ears? This is the correct way to water!

Plant water requirements

Generally speaking, we say that this plant is suitable for living in drier conditions. Of course, when it grows faster, you can give it more nutrients. However, in general, too much water should not be given, because it hates being soaked in wet soil, so we must be careful when watering.

Watering at different times

Generally speaking, we can divide watering into two different periods according to the growth period of the plants. The first period is from September of each year to June of the following year, which is a period of relatively rapid growth. The second period is July and August every year, which is the hottest period of summer.

For plants in the first stage, their growth and development are relatively rapid, so of course you can water them more. However, watering more does not mean that you can water without restraint, otherwise it may cause some harm to the plants, causing the leaves to fall at the very least, and even root rot at the worst. During this period, water slightly less in winter.

In the second period, we all know that the plants do not grow much, so water is almost not needed. Try to keep the soil dry, and then water it slightly after a period of time.

Precautions

For plants that have just been transplanted or have had their pot soil changed, do not water them too much at this time. A slightly dry soil is appropriate. Otherwise, the plant’s leaves are likely to wilt or even fall off.

When watering, we should be careful not to let water droplets get on the leaves of the plants, and do not spray water directly on them, otherwise the leaves may rot.
