How to graft rubber trees

Rubber trees can be cut into branches

Branch cuttings are a type of cuttings, which involves removing branches suitable for cuttings from the plant, cutting them, and then transplanting them after they have taken root.

Rubber trees can also be grafted with branches, and when doing so, it is generally necessary to choose branches that are relatively sturdy. Then proceed to hydroponics.

How to plant rubber tree branches

First, you need to take down the stronger branches from the rubber tree plant, usually 10 cm is enough. The cut branches need to be disinfected, usually by soaking the wound in a solution of carbendazim. When the white juice no longer flows out of the wound, you can start cuttings.

Then, when taking cuttings, hydroponics is usually used to induce roots. Find a relatively clean bottle and add an appropriate amount of water to it. Then cut the processed rubber tree branches into the water.

After being planted in water, the rubber tree should be placed in a place where it can be exposed to bright light and wait for about 2 weeks for it to take root. After taking root, it can be transplanted.
