11 Flowering Plants That Can Be Grow Well Even If You're a Plant Killer

Verbena

I wonder if you have heard of Verbena? This flower has many colors when it blooms, including white, red, blue, snow blue, pink, etc. Moreover, its flowering period can last until November~

Maintenance points:

1. Sunlight. Make sure to let the Verbena chinensis get sunlight frequently. Now that we are about to enter winter, the sunlight is not very strong, so it is okay to expose it to direct sunlight.

2. Watering: Verbena is not drought-tolerant, so it is best to keep the soil moist, but not waterlogged.

3. Verbena is relatively cold-resistant and can grow in temperatures between 5℃ and 25℃. The temperature that can be tolerated in winter is as low as -5℃.

Kalanchoe

I don't need to introduce the Kalanchoe plant much, after all, it is well known that it is easy to grow.

Maintenance points:

1. Temperature: Kalanchoe can easily freeze to death when the temperature is below 0℃. The temperature in winter should be kept above 10℃.

2. Sunlight, at least 4 hours of sunlight a day. If you live in a building, turn the flower pot 180° every half a month.

3. It is more suitable to plant in loose and fertile sandy soil. Earthenware pots are best. You can also use charcoal blocks, stones, etc. and place them underneath to prevent water accumulation.

Pansy

The appearance of the horned pansy is similar to that of the pansy, but the horned pansy is smaller and looks like a small butterfly.

Maintenance points:

1. Temperature: It likes a cool environment and is relatively cold-resistant.

2. The soil should be fertile, well-drained sandy soil, so you can choose to use humus soil for cultivation.

Phalaenopsis

If your home doesn’t have much sunlight, you can choose to grow Phalaenopsis! It does not need too much light, just a little scattered light is enough, but it needs a mild environment. It does not need to be watered frequently, but it needs a water-retaining medium. For example, sphagnum moss is very suitable for growing Phalaenopsis!

Maintenance points:

1. Temperature: It should not be lower than 10℃ in winter, otherwise the growth of Phalaenopsis will be inhibited.

2. Keep the air moist. You can spray more water around the Phalaenopsis to increase the surrounding air humidity.

Oxalis purpurogenum

A type of Oxalis, its leaves are triangular and the small flowers are light purple, very fresh and elegant.

Maintenance points:

1. Humidity: Purple-leaf Oxalis likes a humid environment, so the soil should be kept moist, but water should not accumulate.

2. Suitable for semi-shaded and well-ventilated places.

3. It is suitable for growing in sandy soil rich in humus and with good drainage. Some river sand can be mixed into the humus soil.

Begonia

There are many varieties of begonias, and generally the ones with abundant flowers are more popular.

Maintenance points:

1. Soil. Begonia likes slightly acidic soil. You can choose soil with more humus.

2. It likes an environment with high humidity. You can sprinkle water around the begonia to maintain the humidity of the environment.

3. Begonia prefers a semi-shady environment, but winter is almost here, so you can take it out to bask in the sun! Of course, you still need shade in the summer!

Platycodon grandiflorum

The flowers are small and beautiful, and are very suitable for indoor cultivation.

Maintenance points:

1. When choosing planting materials, you can use peat soil plus vermiculite, perlite, etc.

2. The climate requirements are relatively low. They can tolerate heat and cold, but not extreme cold or heat.

3. It likes a humid environment, so you can spray water on the Platycodon grandiflorum to increase the humidity at ordinary times.

Chamomile

In summer, the smell of chamomile can repel mosquitoes and flies~ But the smell of chamomile is not pungent at all~ It is very light~

Maintenance points:

1. Light. This plant needs plenty of light. It can be exposed to full sunlight in winter, but it needs shade in summer!

2. I like places with good ventilation and I am also more cold-resistant.

Fuchsia

The name comes from its flowers. The bright bell-like flowers hang down one by one, making them a great hanging pot plant. They are very beautiful. I have one at home.

Maintenance points:

1. Light. This plant doesn't like exposure to the sun. Mild sunlight is best.

2. It likes a cool climate and the suitable temperature is 15~25℃.

3. Be sure not to allow water to accumulate when watering. Just keep the soil in the pot moist.

White Anthurium

White palm is also one of the flowers that is very easy to maintain. When it is not blooming, you can also enjoy the green leaves of white palm, and after it blooms, the fresh and elegant flowers will make you intoxicated.

Maintenance points:

1. Light: Anthurium does not need direct sunlight and can grow in a bright place.

2. The minimum temperature at night in winter should be between 14 and 16 degrees Celsius.

3. In winter, the soil in the pot just needs to be slightly moist! If the air is too dry, you can sprinkle water around the white calla lily.

Schlumbergera

Christmas cactus is also a plant that people often raise. At the same time, it is also a very easy plant to raise.

Maintenance points:

1. Light: Just place it on the sunny side of the room in winter!

2. Only one flower bud can be left on one leaf, and the rest must be pinched off, otherwise it will affect flowering in the second year.

3. After the flowers bloom, make sure to water sufficiently, but do not allow water to accumulate.

Okay, we have introduced the plants that are easier to grow!
