Jasper cultivation methods and precautions

Jasper cultivation methods and precautions

1. Soil

Jadeite needs to be grown in well-drained and fertile soil. Specifically, you can mix leaf mold, garden soil and river sand together to use as culture soil.

2. Temperature

Jade likes warmth, and the most suitable temperature is 25 degrees, which can fluctuate up and down. If it is winter, the temperature needs to be controlled between ten and fifteen degrees to ensure it survives the winter.

3. Lighting

Jasper likes diffuse light, so don't expose it to direct or strong light. In spring and summer, it needs to be placed in a semi-shaded place. In winter, it can be exposed to more light and placed in a bright place near the window.

4. Watering

You don't need to water too much, just water it a little when the soil is dry. Do not allow water to accumulate, otherwise it may cause the Jade Plant to shed leaves in large numbers or even die. However, it has relatively high requirements for the humidity in the air. Especially when it is hot and dry, watering and spraying are needed in time. Whether spraying or watering, the water temperature should not be too cold, it is best to be close to room temperature.

5. Fertilization

Apply standard liquid fertilizer once a month. Use light fertilizer, not too thick. In addition, the nutrition needs to be complete, don't just focus on nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium. In addition, if it is the growing season, you can apply topdressing, apply cake fertilizer water once every two weeks, and make it as thin as possible.

6. Notes

Jade grows very fast and needs to be repotted regularly. Generally, it needs to be replaced every two to three years. The best time is spring, and the standards for selecting new soil are the same as above.
