2.How to connect these 3 terminals of controller with my wind output wires?
(1) To AC wind turbine, any one of three wires from wind turbine can be connected with any terminal of wind on your controller. For they are non-electrode;
(2) To DC wind output is 2 wires(Positive Negative) , you can connect them with any wind terminals on your controller.
3.How many connecting ways user can choose when using this controller?
For the wind charging and Solar charging are independent, so user can choose any one of the following as the connection method :
(1) Only connect wind turbine generator to charge battery;
(2) Only connect solar to charge battery;
(3) Connect wind turbine and solar to build a hybrid wind solar power system to charge battery.
4.Can i only connect wind turbine as generator to charge battery when i get my controller?
Yes, you can to do so. But for the main purpose of such controller designs for low power consumption equipment charging, such as: street lights and monitoring etc. So establish hybrid wind solar system can get better charging guarantee. Because most of low-power wind turbine is installed in or close to the residential place, wind generation efficiency is not high due to the low wind speed and short working time.
5.How to connect my system when I get this controller?
We strongly recommend user to install air switch between all DC and AC input or output. Then please turn on the breaker/ air switch in this order:
(1) First turn on the breaker between battery and controller;
(2) Second turn on the breaker between wind and controller;
(3) Third turn on the breaker between DC load and controller;
(4) Final turn on the breaker between Solar and controller.
Remark: If you want to shut down the system, please proceed in the reverse order as above.
6.Do i need to install additional light protecting for my power system?
Yes, it is best way to install additional light protecting.
7.How the controller to operate when the wind speed is too fast?
(1) For the output voltage or current from wind generator which beyond the safety range, the controller will automatically turn on the brake and gradually slow down. Meanwhile, the dump load will start to consume excess current immediately.
(2) But when encountering strong storm weather, such as hurricane, typhoon, it is strongly recommended to put down the wind turbine immediately.
8.How to design hybrid wind solar power system voltage, 12V, 24V, 48V, which one is best to me?
(1) The system voltage is equivalent to the voltage of the battery pack;
(2) Once the battery voltage designed, the input voltage from wind turbine generator and solar modules must be matched according to the specifications in the parameter table;
(3) Therefore, users cannot simply think that more lower voltage design, can get more bigger charging current but ignore that the excessive current has exceeded the working range of the controller or battery to damage the controller or battery.
9.Why designed in MPPT?
(1) Wind turbine charging adopted booster MPPT technology, which makes under low wind speed, the Wind turbine's electricity can still be used;
10.When the wind generator is connected to the controller, why its running speed becomes very slow immediately?
(1) The battery reaches the floating voltage;
(2) The rated output voltage of the wind generator is much higher than the battery, because the speed of the wind generator is proportional to the output voltage, and the voltage is dragged by the battery, so the speed will be very low;
11.Why wind generator dump load when the controller displays small current?
The controller protect the all system by detecting battery voltage, charging current and temperature and so on. When the battery reach floating charge voltage or high temperature, the wind generator will dump load, no matter how much charging current it is.
12.Why there showing no charging current on LCD screen but the wind is running or the solar is working?
Only when the input voltage Reach MPPT startup voltage (8V/16V/32V)then it can charge.But the prerequisite is that the battery is properly connected and not fully charged.
