Why is Fire Festival not popular?

Why not popular

The Fire Festival is mostly red-green during the growing season, and only turns red or pink when there is no water or in the dormant period. That is, from late autumn to early spring, when the temperature difference between day and night is large, it is dry and cold, and the leaves are prone to turn red when there is full sunlight.

Therefore, in autumn, the temperature difference between day and night is small, there is insufficient light, and there is too much watering, so the fire sacrifice will not turn red.

How to raise red

First of all, you have to understand that the fire festival will only turn red under the combined effects of dryness, low temperature and strong sun. It is difficult for the fire festival to turn red during the seedling stage. During the growing season, the fire festival will turn green again and grow wildly. You can cut the branches and graft them continuously, and it will grow into a large pile within half a year.

Maintain a good root system: Only by maintaining a good root system can the Fire Festival thrive. A large amount of water has been stored in the body, and then the water should be cut off slowly, and a little water should be applied each time until the water is finally cut off. Then expose the Fire Festival to the sun and it will turn red.

Fertilization: Fire Festival is a horticultural variety. It prefers a warm, dry and sunny environment. Although the plant can grow in semi-shade or shade, its leaves are not red. Do not use too much water or fertilizer, especially not too much nitrogen fertilizer, otherwise it will cause the plant to grow too tall and the leaves will not be red. Wait until the soil in the pot is completely dry before watering, and apply a thin layer of fertilizer mainly composed of phosphorus and potassium once a month.
