The branches are mostly leafy and laterally flattened, lanceolate to oblong-lanceolate, with wavy or deeply crenate edges, thick midribs, and branches of old plants producing aerial roots. The flowers are solitary in small funnel-shaped nests on the sides of the branches, open at night and are fragrant.

2. Growth habits

It likes to grow in a mild and humid environment, and does not like to grow in a low temperature environment. In winter, the temperature should be controlled and the growth temperature should not be lower than five degrees Celsius. Direct sunlight will cause sunburn to its branches and leaves, affecting the normal growth of Epiphyllum.
