How to care for baby's breath seedlings after potting, why do they fall over?

1. Maintenance after potting

After the baby's breath seedling is potted, it must first be allowed to adapt to the new environment. Before it adapts, place it in a cool place with good ventilation. After it adapts, you can maintain it normally. When the plant is still a seedling, it is usually given nitrogen fertilizer, which helps to strengthen the seedling. The light in the breeding environment can be increased slowly, but the sunlight should not be too strong. Its drought tolerance is not very good, so it needs to be watered in time and the soil should be kept moist.

2. Causes of seedling collapse

1. Too much water: Do not water the baby's breath seedlings too much during their growth period. At this time, its roots have not yet fully grown and developed, and excessive watering will wash away the seedlings. Moreover, too much water will cause the plants to grow too tall and easily fall over. The amount of watering should be controlled, and water can be replenished by immersion or spraying at ordinary times.

2. Lack of light: If there is not enough light in the maintenance environment, the seedlings will easily grow too tall. Once the phenomenon of too tall appears, it will easily cause the seedlings to fall over. The light should be increased appropriately, but the light intensity should not be too high. If you are not careful, the strong light will burn the baby's breath seedlings and their growth will slow down.

3. Seedling density: Do not plant too densely, otherwise the seedlings will not grow very well. If they grow thin and weak, they will be more likely to fall over. Thinning should be carried out, and there should be a certain distance between the seedlings, so that they can grow strong and not easily fall over.
