The cultivation method and precautions of Yimoxiang

1. Sunlight

To grow the osmanthus fragrans, you need to place it in a place with good light, because it likes the sun. If you place it in a sunny place, it will grow better. If you want to grow it indoors, it is recommended to place it on the balcony or near the window, but in the summer you need to shade it to prevent it from being sunburned by strong sunlight.

2. Watering

It has a certain degree of drought resistance, but it also needs proper watering. Generally, it only needs to be watered once every 5-6 days. When watering, be careful not to allow excess water to appear in the pot, otherwise the roots will rot. Watering can be more frequent in summer, and spray more water when the air is dry.

3. Fertilization

The plant has low requirements for fertilizer during its growth period, but it cannot be without fertilizer for a long time. Usually, applying fertilizer once every 20 days can meet normal growth needs. When applying fertilizer, use low-concentration fertilizer and do not use concentrated fertilizer. Moreover, fertilizer cannot be applied in winter.

4. Temperature

It prefers a warmer environment, so try to adjust the breeding temperature to 25-30℃, which is the best temperature for its growth. In winter, the temperature should be controlled at around 5-10℃. If it is lower than 5℃, frost damage will occur.

5. Ventilation

The environment for its maintenance must have good ventilation, so that there is fresh air, it will not be easily attacked by scale insects, and it can also avoid the occurrence of yellow leaves, so air circulation is necessary.
