Environmental cultivation methods for daylilies

Daylilies like warm and humid environment. Slightly sticky soil is best. It can be cultivated on field ridges, ditches, near houses, etc. Propagated by division. After the aboveground part withers in October-November or before the plant sprouts in spring, dig up the whole plant and divide it into clumps of 2.3 equal parts.

Before planting, dig holes according to the row and plant spacing of 40 cm. The hole depth is 17-20cm. Plant one clump in each hole. The roots should be spread out flat on all sides and covered with soil and compacted. Watering or irrigating with human and animal manure. Starting from the second year, tillage, weeding and fertilization are carried out three times a year. The first time is when the seedlings emerge in March, the second time is before flowering in June, and the third time is after the seedlings are transplanted in October. After each tillage and weeding, human and animal manure water is applied.
