The difference between calla lily and dripping guanyin, pictures of dripping guanyin

1. Leaf Difference

1. The leaves of calla lily are usually very thick, with petioles that can grow up to 1.5m long, sub-leathery and grass green in color. The leaves can usually grow to about 50-90cm, with a width of 40-90cm, and the edges of the leaves are wavy.

2. The leaves of the weeping angel are ovate-shaped and generally 30-90cm long, which is relatively short. The petiole is also shorter than that of Alocasia, usually only 1m, and sometimes water will drip from the leaves, but this will not happen in Alocasia.

2. Flower Differences

1. The inflorescence of calla lily is fragrant. The inflorescence of female flowers is white and about 2-4cm in length. The inflorescence of male flowers is light yellow and longer, about 3-7cm. It blooms all year round, but if the growing environment is too dark, it will not bloom.

2. When the weeping angel blooms, the length of the pedicel is about 10-30cm, and the length of the spathe is 10-20cm. The lower part is tubular, and the upper part is slightly curved and boat-shaped.

3. Different habits

1. Calla lilies prefer a semi-shady environment, but not too dark. It likes moisture, so the soil should be moist rather than too dry during its growing season. In addition, appropriate top dressing should be applied during its growth period, usually once a week.

2. The weeping angel is suitable for growing in an environment of 20-30℃, and the temperature cannot be lower than 8℃ in winter. It is also shade-tolerant and very fond of fertilizer. It also likes moisture, so the soil should be kept moist during maintenance.
