The difference between rose and rose

The difference between rose and rose

1. Differences between branches and trunks

Roses and roses look similar, but their branches are different. Roses are shorter in shape, but their branches are upright. The thorns on the stems are slightly different. The thorns on the rose are flat, and if you look closely, you can see small hooks at the tips.

The rose plant is relatively tall, but the stem is relatively light and long, and some of the branches are creeping or climbing. The thorns above are densely distributed on the stem, and each thorn is smaller and perpendicular to the branch.

2. Different leaves

The leaves of the former are relatively smooth, with unclear textures and not many in number. The surface looks very shiny and glossy, and can be clearly felt to the touch. There are fewer leaflets, usually 3-5.

The leaves of the latter are not very smooth, the texture on them is more complex, and they feel rough when touched by hand. There are a large number of leaflets, usually 5-9.

3. Different flowers

The former has a longer flowering period, lasting from April to September. When it blooms, there are usually very few flowers on the branches, only one or two or three. After the flowers wither, the sepals will not fall off.

The latter has a very short flowering period, blooming only in spring and summer. The flowers bloom in clusters and there are large numbers of them. The sepals will fall off after the flowers wither.
