The difference between cat's claw and bear's paw

The difference between cat's claw and bear's paw

1. Difference in quantity

Although the succulent cat's claw looks similar to the bear's paw, you can see the difference if you look closely. There are three small teeth on the cat's claw, while some have fewer, with only one small tooth.

The number of claws on bear paws varies significantly, generally with five small teeth, and some may have more than five teeth. You can tell by counting the number of teeth on it.

2. Shape Difference

The leaves of the succulent cat's claw are narrower and relatively longer. The leaf surface is slightly arc-shaped, and it can be clearly seen that the surface of the leaf is uneven.

The leaves of Bear's Paw are relatively wide, and the entire leaf surface is relatively flat. Some are concave inward, making them look cute and thicker.

3. Difference of fluff

Both of these succulents have hairy leaves, but the characteristics are different.

The hairs of the succulent cat's claw are relatively long and look messy. There are a lot of them and they are very messy, with no pattern or regularity.

The fur of the bear's paw is shorter, densely distributed, and looks relatively neat.
