How to grow fragrant wood on the balcony, what should be paid attention to

1. Adequate light

The fragrant wood is a shade-tolerant plant. When caring for it, it needs to be given sufficient light. It can be placed on the balcony to expose it to light, which can promote its growth, make its branches and leaves lush and vigorous, and make the leaves green and shiny, which is very beneficial for its growth. However, it cannot tolerate strong light and must not be exposed to direct sunlight. It needs to be placed behind tall plants or on a north-facing balcony where it is only exposed to scattered light.

2. Water supplement

It is not a water-loving plant, but it needs to maintain a certain amount of moisture during its growth. Don't water it too much. Generally, water it once every 3 to 5 days. The water needs to be thoroughly watered, otherwise it will cause water accumulation at the bottom of the pot and cause the roots to rot. If you accidentally water it too much, you need to loosen the soil in time to increase ventilation to promote the discharge and evaporation of water as soon as possible.

3. Temperature requirements

It is a warmth loving plant and needs to be kept within the right range. The temperature in summer should not be higher than 30℃. If the temperature is high, you need to spray water to cool it down to a suitable range. In winter, the climate is cold and needs to be kept above 10℃. If the temperature is too low, the plants will be frostbitten.

4. Apply fertilizer

During the maintenance process, fertilizer needs to be applied regularly to ensure good nutrition, but the concentration must not be too high.
