The pilea is a dioecious plant, mainly distributed in the southwestern region of Madagascar. Small fruits will grow on the female pilea.

2. Morphological characteristics

1. The height of the stem of the green drum is about 50cm. Its stem is upright or creeping, and there are some tendrils on the stem. The base is branched, and the branches are thin and round.

2. Its leaves are fleshy, alternate, oval in shape and green in color. Its leaves are not big, only about 4cm long and 3.5cm wide, and the leaves have a small petiole with a length of 0.8cm. Its leaves are hairless and the middle of the leaves is concave.
