Temperature for flowers to be taken out of the house in spring

Temperature for flowers to be taken out of the house in spring

1. Temperature of the exit room

Generally speaking, it can only be moved outdoors when the outdoor temperature reaches around 10℃ and the temperature is relatively stable. Some flowers are very cold-resistant and can be brought indoors a little earlier, with April being the most suitable time. The southern region will be slightly warmer, so it can be carried out earlier; while the northern region will be colder, so it can be postponed for a while.

2. Be careful when going out in spring

1. Adapt in advance: If you want to adapt before going out, you can adapt in advance. That is to say, about 10-15 days before going out, you should open the windows as much as possible to allow the plants to gradually accept the outdoor temperature. You can also move the plant outdoors during the day and move it back in at night.

2. Move indoors appropriately: In some areas, there will be strong winds or late frosts in the spring. In such weather, you still need to move indoors again and leave the house when the weather is stable.

3. Don’t rush to fertilize: When you just take it out of the room, don’t be too anxious to fertilize it, especially don’t apply concentrated fertilizer. It has not yet adapted to the new environment, and its root system is unable to absorb nutrients, so it will suffer from fertilizer damage.

3. Maintenance outside the room

After taking it out of the house in spring, you need to slowly wait for its root system to recover, water it in small amounts, and do not apply fertilizer yet. Wait until its root system is normal before applying thin fertilizer frequently.
