Cultivation methods and precautions of gladiolus

1. Breeding methods

1. Sunlight: Sunlight needs to be provided in different stages. Before the flower buds differentiate, sufficient light must be provided to ensure long days. This will allow more flowers to bloom. Insufficient light will affect the quantity. However, after the differentiation of flower buds is completed, it is necessary to switch to short daylight hours, which will be conducive to the formation of flower buds and early flowering.

2. Flower soil: Good drainage is the first condition. It also needs to contain nutrients and should not be too sticky, otherwise it will affect water seepage.

3. Watering: The amount of water to be watered varies at different growth stages. When the plants are first planted, do not water them too much to prevent them from growing unsteadily. It needs to be supplied in time during the growth period to support its growth. When the air is relatively dry, you should also add water to the leaves to help increase the humidity.

4. Fertilization: Flowers need a lot of nutrients to bloom, so you can apply 1-2 times of thin fertilizer before and after flowering.

5. Temperature: Keep the daytime temperature at 20-25℃, ensure a good temperature difference, and keep it at 10-15℃ at night.

2. Precautions

During the maintenance process, the plant may rot, which is usually caused by excessive watering and poor drainage, so you must pay attention to this point.
