Milan flower cultivation methods and precautions

Milan flower cultivation methods and precautions

1. Flower soil

To grow Milan, you need to use flower soil with a high nutrient content. Because its root system is relatively large, the flower soil must have sufficient fertility to meet its needs. The soil used to grow it also needs to have sufficient air permeability so that its roots can stretch better and help the plant grow better.

2. Watering

Spring is when it starts to sprout new buds. At this time, you can control the water slightly to promote flowering. At other times, you can water the plant according to the condition of the plant, that is, water it when its tender shoots droop slightly. This will prevent overwatering and damage to its root system.

3. Fertilization

It has a high demand for flower fertilizer. During the growing season, you can apply diluted flower fertilizer every 1-2 weeks to promote its growth. Before flowering, you need to apply phosphorus fertilizer 2-3 times to help it bloom. After the flowers fade, you need to apply flower fertilizer 1-2 times to help it replenish the nutrients consumed during flowering.

4. Lighting

It needs plenty of sunlight to grow. If there is a lack of light, its branches and leaves will grow very tall, but it will not bloom much, and the fragrance of the flowers that do bloom will be very faint. So when raising it, be sure to place it in a place with plenty of sunlight.

5. Notes

If diseased branches appear, they need to be cut off in time to prevent infection.
