What is Aloe Vera

It is an evergreen, succulent herb of the Asphodeloides family and the Aloe genus. It is a rare edible species in this genus. There are many wild species, about three hundred. In Africa, there are as many as 250 species of it.

2. Habits

It is a type of succulent plant, and its habits are very similar to those of succulent plants. It likes acidic, well-drained, breathable soil. Likes light and dislikes shade. Like warmth, keep away from cold in winter. It is afraid of waterlogging, but has good drought tolerance, so waterlogging is not allowed.

3. Distribution

It originally grew mainly in Africa, and later spread to all parts of the world. In our country, it is mainly distributed in the south, such as Taiwan Province, Sichuan Province, Guangdong Province, etc. In Yunnan Province, there are wild varieties cultivated.

4. Form

Its stem is relatively short. Its leaves are nearly clustered, thick, and about 15 to 35 centimeters long. There are teeth on the top and smaller teeth on the edges. Its scape height is between 60 and 90 cm; racemose inflorescence; perianth 2.5 cm.
