1. Differences in the stems

Cassava is an upright shrub, about 1.5 to 3 meters in height, with a smooth, relatively upright stem containing latex and a cylindrical root.

The length of sweet potatoes ranges from 0.7 to 7 meters, with a large length span. The colors of the surface include pure green, brown-green, purple-green and full purple, and there is fuzz on the surface.

2. The difference of leaves

The shape of cassava leaves is almost round, and the petiole is about 8 to 22 cm long.

Sweet potato leaves come in a variety of shapes, including heart-shaped, triangular, palm-shaped and kidney-shaped, with petiole lengths ranging from approximately 6 to 23 cm.

3. The difference of flowers

The cassava calyx is short, about 7 mm long, and purple-red with a little white powdery frost.

The calyx of sweet potato is longer, about 1 cm long, light pink or purple in color, and the flower is shaped like a morning glory.
