The difference between Hainan bean tree and bean tree

The green bean tree has many aliases. It can reach a height of 10 meters and its stem is yellow-brown in color.

The leaves of Hainan bean tree are oblong in shape, about 4 to 10 cm long and 2.5 to 4.5 cm wide. Both sides of the leaves are hairless and sometimes have many small spots.

3. The difference of flowers

The corolla of the Hainan bean tree is light yellow in color, about 3.5 to 5 cm long and about 15 mm in diameter. It blooms early, starting in April.

The bean tree has a panicle inflorescence with a corolla that is white to light yellow, about 6 to 8 cm long, and white latex inside the calyx. The flowering period is from May to September.
