The difference between red hibiscus and redbud

1. Tree shape difference

Man Tiao Hong is a variety of Osmanthus fragrans, a small tree, while Bauhinia odorifera is a shrub. Compared with the two, the taller one is the redbud, and the shorter one is the bauhinia.

2. Difference of blades

The leaves of the full-striped red are oblong, about 9.4cm long and 3.3cm wide. Its leaves are dark green, leathery, and its petioles are green. The leaves of Bauhinia are nearly circular or triangular-circular, 5-10cm long, with a width similar to the length, and are papery. The young leaves are green with a slight purple tint on the petiole.

3. The difference between flowers

The inflorescence of Mantiaohong is umbel, the flowers are about 1cm long and orange-red. The flowers of Bauhinia are purple or pink, and are 1-1.3cm long.
