How to grow garlic

1. Prepare the garlic cloves

Prepare garlic heads that are growing well, which can be bought in supermarkets or vegetable markets. Break it apart, breaking it into petals one by one. There is no need to peel it, you can plant it with the skin on.

2. Prepare the soil

Prepare a flower pot, fill it with soil, and spray the soil wet. Be careful not to make it too wet and it cannot become muddy. Use a shovel to dig a hole of the right size in the soil surface.

3. Planting Garlic Cloves

Plant the broken garlic cloves in the dug hole with the flat root facing down and the pointed side facing up. The distance between each garlic clove is about 10 cm and the depth is about 5 cm. If the temperature is right, the seeds will germinate in about a week.

4. Post-maintenance

After planting, water the seeds every 3-5 days. After sprouting, take them out frequently to dry in the sun and apply fertilizer in moderation. You can use farmyard manure or chicken and duck manure.
